PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Spectracide® Weed & Grass Foaming Edger helps you keep your landscape edges trim and neat. This non-selective herbicide kills weeds and grasses down to the root. Rainproof in just 15 minutes, this solution delivers results in as fast as 3 hours.

Use for edging to get rid of unwanted grass and weeds. Spray to completely cover the leaves of the target vegetation so the formula can be absorbed on all plant surfaces. Avoid spraying this product on desirable plants, lawn grasses, shrubs or trees.

Directions For Use:

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Do not allow people or pets to touch treated plants until the sprays have dried.

APPLICATION RESTRICTIONS:

Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Only persons applying this product may be in the area during application. Do not mow, cut or otherwise disturb treated weeds or plants for at least seven days following application. Do not use on or around edible feed or food crops. Do not apply more than 1.125 lb of fluazifop-p-butyl per acre per year.

SPRAY DRIFT ADVISORIES • Handheld Technology Applications: Take precautions to minimize spray drift.

HOW TO USE:
  1. 1. Shake well before each use.
  2. 2. Completely cover the foliage of the target vegetation. Do not overspray.
  3. 3. Sprayed plants begin yellowing and wilting in hours, with complete kill, including the roots, in one to two weeks.
  4. 4. Protect desirable plants with a piece of plastic or cardboard.
  5. 5. If desirable plants are accidentally sprayed, wash plants with water immediately.
    Not recommended for spot weed treatment in established lawns since lawn grasses will also be killed.
USE TIPS:
  1. 1. For best results, apply during warm, sunny weather (above 60ºF) when weeds are actively growing. Rainfall or watering 15 minutes after application will not wash away effectiveness.
  2. 2. To avoid drift to desirable plants, apply when the air is calm.

Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool, dry area away from heat or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate! To prevent accidental poisoning, never store this product in food, drink or unlabeled containers.

Pesticide Disposal: If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partially filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.

CAUTION. May cause eye irritation. Protective eyewear is strongly recommended when applying this product. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wear long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes and socks. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Physical or Chemical Hazards: Contents under pressure. Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F may cause bursting.

User Safety Recommendations: Clothing and protective equipment exposed to this product should be washed in detergent and hot water. Such items should be kept and washed separately from other laundry. Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Users should remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside, then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Users should remove clothing and protective equipment immediately after handling this product. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
Environmental Hazards:
This pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters. To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area.

NON-TARGET ORGANISM ADVISORY: This product is toxic to plants and may adversely impact the forage and habitat of non-target organisms, including pollinators, in areas adjacent to the treated site. Protect the forage and habitat of non-target organisms by following label directions intended to minimize spray drift.

First Aid:

If in Eyes:
  • IMMEDIATELY hold eye open and rinse slowly and thoroughly with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.

If on Skin or Clothing:
  • • Take off contaminated clothing.
  • • Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

Have the product container or label with you when calling a Poison Control Center or doctor, or going for treatment.
Note to Physician: If in eyes, treat symptomatically. Symptoms may develop gradually. Severe damage may be caused by apparently trivial contact and healing may be delayed. Medical supervision should be continued until healing is complete.
