Doesn't work Like the other reviewer, I found that this product doesn't work at all. I applied it after an overnight rain and went away for a week. When I came back, not only were the weeds still there, they were flowering! A waste of time and money. DO NOT BUY. May 6, 2012
Not happy with this product. I followed all of the directions perfectly andnow even after 2 weeks nothing! We had a pretty good rain so right after I applied this with a push spreader. Kept everyone off the lawn for the next 2 days (even though it said 1) no watering, a very light breeze at most so I know it could not have blown off. It now looks like I have not applied anything at all! I used 2 bags for my lawn and 2 on my mothers following the same directions. Very upset that I have now wasted so much money for 4 bags of something that did nothing. I have used this brand before and was always very happy with the results. Not sure why this did not work out for me. April 28, 2012

Answer:
If you have already placed the seed, wait until after the third mowing before using Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns Crabgrass Preventer & Broadleaf Weed Granules (most likely about six weeks or so after seedling emergence). If you have already treated, wait at least 10 weeks before seeding.

Answer:
You should keep your pets off the treated area until the dust from the granules has settled. Because this product is applied to wet grass, it's probably a good idea to let it dry completely before allowing your pets to use the lawn as usual.
