Where to Use

Outdoors

• This product should be applied to lawns containing the following species of grass: Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, fescue species (including tall, red, and fine leaf varieties), Bermudagrass*, buffalograss, and zoysiagrass * NOTE: Application to Bermudagrass may cause temporary yellowing or discoloration but full recovery can be expected. Do not apply to Bermudagrass when daytime temperatures exceed 85° F. In addition, this product should not be used on lawns containing bentgrass, St. Augustinegrass, bahiagrass, centipedegrass or carpetgrass. Further, do not use on dichondra or lawns with desirable clovers or legumes or on vegetable gardens, fruits or ornamentals (flowers, trees, groundcovers, hedges, landscape/flower beds and shrubs).

This product is designed for lawn use -- you shouldn't apply to ornamentals (flowers, trees, groundcovers, hedges, landscape/flower beds and shrubs). It will, however, kill wild onions. If you're just looking to spot treat in landscape beds, you can use Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer, but be careful to cover any desirable vegetation before spraying.

Yes. For your hose-end sprayer that requires no pre-mixing, you'll set to 5 Tbsp (15 tsp or 2.5 fl oz) per gallon. For use with a hose-end sprayer that requires pre-mixing, please refer to the instruction booklet.

Once you have sprayed and allowed the area to dry, you and your pets can re-enter the area and use it as usual. You should store the container in a place that's inaccessible to your dogs, however.
